Nearly six years after its release, The Crew 2 is still receiving new cars, even ahead of the newer Motorfest successor.

Ubisoft’s USA-based open-world driving game, The Crew 2, is starting to feel more than a bit old now, especially in light of The Crew Motorfest’s improved handling and visuals – yet new cars are still being created for the 2018 title.
Two fresh SUVS have been added, available for now for all players:
The Crew 2, Land Rover Defender 110 V8 2022.
The Land Rover is the longer ‘110’ wheelbase with five doors, although not the extra-long, and features a sonorous 5-litre supercharged V8 engine.
Meanwhile, the Audi is more subtle but faster. The Urus and Cayenne platform-sharing crossover from Ingolstadt (actually produced in Bratislava) is powered by a 4-litre eight-cylinder engine.
It follows a strange trend where the venerable Crew 2 is still receiving hot metal, ahead of the much-improved Motorfest title launched last year. It even recently added the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50.

The justification isn’t clear, although it’s worth noting that the elder title has been reported in the past as having up to two million active players.
However, of note, both the recent Defender and RS Q8 additions will be available at a later date (TBC) within Motorfest via the Collection Import system – provided you own them within The Crew 2, naturally. Meanwhile, the newer game now has the Ferrari F8 Spider.
