For those looking to fill out their collection of sim racing games or maybe save some money on a new wheel and pedal set, Humble Bundle has an impressive limited time offer on now.

Humble Bundle, an online service that allows you to purchase games and support charities simultaneously, has an outstanding offer for our community this month with their Ultimate Sim Racing Bundle.

Like all Humble Bundle deals, you can start your bundle at a very low price point, then add additional software as you increase what you choose to pay.

Pricing and availability will vary by region, but in USD here is the breakdown of the current sim racing bundle deals:
  • $5 - Automobilista
  • $9 - Automobilista, Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition, rFactor 2, NASCAR Heat 5
  • $13 - Automobilista, Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition, rFactor 2, NASCAR Heat 5, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Drift 21, Automobilista 2, 3-month iRacing subscription (new members only), 20% off Thrustmaster T248 coupon, 20% off Thrustmaster T150 coupon
Many people choose to pay more than the minimum amount, as some the money from sales goes to the JDRF and DirectRelief organizations, and so far this sim racing bundle has already raised over $16,000 for those charities.

This is a very good deal to fill out your collection of Steam games, and maybe save some money if you're in the market for a new Thurstmaster wheel. Plus, you'll be helping out some great charities. And as a reminder, this is a limited time offer so be sure to act soon if you want to take advantage of these deals.

From what I've heard, the demo is far from representative as it only has two VWs or so. You have a two-hour refund window on Steam, that should be enough to test the sim. On the other hand, for the price of the bundle, you can't go wrong even if you don't like it for whatever reason.
Agreed with that. The VWs are slow and heavy FWDs - nothing wrong with that but it can be hard to know if you gel with the physics just with them. The demo track is quite complex and hard to learn and there's a good chance you won't know it unless you follow brazilian racing, which makes it even harder to push the cars on the limit right away. I ended up not really knowing if the sim was my cup of tea or not.

Anyway, this deal is scary good and I will likely take it.

I agree, trying something you might now better is definitely going to help. While nothing beats the CART/IndyCars right now, those are DLC, so I'd recommend giving the circa 2000 F1 cars a go. The Brazilian Stock Cars are also very fun, in my opinion :)

It is a great deal. Since I already have both AC's, Automobilista, and RF2, however, the only thing of any interest for me is Automobilista 2, which has already been available for around the bundle price. I'll pass for now... still waiting for the A2 DLC to have a decent sale price.

Bought Automobilista for 5 bucks. Never played it before, but i have heard many good things about it.
Glad i did! What a blast! :) Thanks for the heads up RD.
