GRID Legends Releasing Early to EA Play Users

GRID Legends EA Play Early Release 01.jpg
GRID Legends is scheduled to be released on the 25th of February, but EA Play members will get the game early, and EA Play Pro members will get access to the Deluxe edition free.

If you're looking forward to the release of the latest installment in the GRID series, then being an EA Play member will soon have added benefits.

EA Play is Electronic Arts' gaming platform, allowing members certain benefits such as limited early access to new releases and access to playing classic games. At three times the price, EA Play Pro offers extra benefits including access to premium games before release.

For those looking to play GRID Legends outside of EA Play, you'll need to wait until the 25th of this month, but EA Play members will get access to the title on the 22nd for up to 10 hours of play, and those on the Pro plan will get to play the Deluxe edition with no time restrictions starting on the 22nd.

GRID Legends looks to take players on a journey both on and off the track. The "Driven to Glory" story mode appears to be the focal point of the upcoming release, with gameplay centering around the comparative performance of drivers on a team and the related politics behind the scenes.

All signs point to this being a fun racing title, with plenty of on-track challenges to test our skills and a deep story mode to keep us engaged between races. Are you excited for this release, or the ability to access it early via EA Play? Let us know in the comments below.

I could wait until 2082, last game i bought from EA was Grid 2019 and was the most stupid and absurd game i´ve ever played on simracing, so for now i have to say "no thanks" i´ll wait to WRC in 2023 from Dirt Rally2.0 team, those boys know how to make a great game, i´ll wait EA use that team again for next projects and simracing games

I don't rly like subscription models about games...
Sure they have pros and cons, but to me it's like the publishers try to force customers to get into these subscriptions with early access options and other benefits.

About the game: I guess not... not yet at least. :)

This game really got my attention and could well be what the doctor ordered as a diversion to pure sims.

thats funny as grid 2019 was released more than a year before ea bought codemasters. also the grid series has been mostly seen as a arcade game besides the first game from 2008.

I'm really intesrting to hear feedback on this project

was bit disappointed with some of the content , but it could still be a fun game to try. not sure
It's all about how it will feel to drive and race against AI

comparing to something like Forza5, which had quite decent feel & AI , yeah will see
I always prefer more race car content compared to road cars - like in Forza , so in a way, this should be way more in my alley

From the trailer I've seen all I need to see. The original Grid was the best, since then no thanks.

EA now buy Codemasters but if you want we'll talk about Need for Speed saga and their "close to real" physics, that's why we affraid, i'll wait they follow F1 2019 way and improve it

Which EA Play?
I have Origin EA Play and can't play any of the Codemasters games.
Steam EA Play lets you play a lot of them.
Game Pass EA Play only lets you play F1 2019 and Dirt I think.
They are all seperate which is kind of dodgy IMO.

Just hope I can play this new ea game with my wheel and get good FFB.
I've bought WRC 10 and I try to play with my T500RS. FFB was just awful. I waited for updates that never came...
I'm going to wait for user feedbacks before test it.
Don't want to throw money away again...

what does need for speed have to do with grid or codemasters in general?

That was made by EA, and like i was thinking, Grid Legends is another "game for childrens" yesterday was watching a live from Grid Legends on YT, bah not interesting for me another absurd game, with physics for children and absurds things like fireworks everytime and cars moving on ice, if it´s the way of the new games EA will launch i never buy them
