Triumph TR4 number 76DP
I originally did this car for GTL as a request by nogrip member flipguy12. That version was as it is raced today in Historics by his Uncle Jim Lee.
This P&G version depicts it is as it was raced back in the 60's by Jim's brother John.
History:
Raced throughout the 1960's by John Lee, the car is depicted here at the 1967 SCCA Daytona Runoffs, where it was driven by "Red" Stanford of Bartlesville, Oklahoma who was loaned the car by John after Red had wrecked his own car in practice.
Red drove the car in SCCA races for a while while John was in Saigon "on holiday".
The car still survives in the same family, and is raced in historic events in the USA by the current owner Jim Lee who is John's brother.
Jim has owned the car since the early 70's.
