You can play this map with WORKING TreeFX on Pyyers 2023 Spa Extension! FOLLOW TUTORIAL BELOW:
- This Fix allows compatibility with Pyyers 2023 extension & removes a few 2D trees Johannes Missed :)
TUTORIAL:
1. Download & INSTALL Pyyers 2023 F1 Spa Extension
2. Download This TreeFX Mod
3. In this TreeFX Mods Archive File (The file you get when you download) Navigate on this path by opening it with WINRAR / ZIP etc.
File Path:
Spa Tree fx > content > tracks > spa > extension
4. Copy ONLY the 'trees' folder
5. Paste 'trees' folder in the tracks 'extension' folder.
(Found In: assettocorsa > content > tracks > spa > extension)
6. While in the tracks 'extension' folder Create a new: 'Text Document'. Then *Important* Name the text file/notepad:
ext_config.ini
7. Open the notepad & Paste The Following:

IMPORTANT NOTES:
QUESTION: How to disable or enable the TreeFX if wanted?
ANSWER:
1. Open the created 'ext_config.ini' file.
2. On the Top 2 lines you will see:
[TREES]
ACTIVE = 1
3. Change the 'ACTIVE = 1' TO: 'ACTIVE = 0' and save changes.
Note: You can change this value back to: 'ACTIVE = 1' to enable.
4. On Lines 6 and 15 you will see:
[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_...]
ACTIVE = 1
5. Change the 'ACTIVE = 1' TO: 'ACTIVE = 0' and save changes.
Note: You can change this value back to: 'ACTIVE = 1' to enable.
READ THIS >>> SIMPLIFICATION:
If you want TreeFX ENABLED, ensure all ACTIVE = 1
If you want TreeFX DISABLED, ensure all ACTIVE = 0
Important Mentions & QA's:
- This fix allows compatibility with Pyyers extension & removes a few 2D trees Johannes Missed & additionally preventing Pyyers Track Textures from being override.
- The biggest Flaw of this Fix is that Some 3D Trees clip through Objects like Grand Stands In Pyyers Extension & Trees Existing in places like the exit of La Source that are no longer there irl. Unfortunately, Johannes would need to update the mod for those flaws to be fixed. However you can toggle the activation of the TreeFX w/ this fix so build your own opinion :)
