Based on a Porsche 911 race car (1965 model) engine sounds

** INSTALLATION **

Extract/Unzip to "...\GTL" (game main folder). If prompted, overwrite files.
...run the game...and enjoy!

* UNINSTALLATION *

If you ever wish to uninstall and revert to original sounds do the following:
1)- Go to the folder "...\GTL\GameData\Teams\GTC-TC-76\Porsche 911"
2)- enter in the folders with numbers 81, 82, 83, 852 and 853 and simply delete the file "911sounds.aud".
...the original GTL sounds of the Porsche 911 will be working again then.
I would have used an installer package with a one-click uninstaller (like I once did for older soundset releases) but since there are so many people complaining with anti-virus acting paranoid with weird trojans/virus alerts, I decided to use a simple regular ZIP package from now on. :-/

** NOTES & DESCRIPTIONS **

These sounds do not modify the Porsche 911RSR structure as of a "cheat", so the car will stay "clean" in online servers just like it was before.
These engine sounds were taken from a recording of a 1965 Porsche 911 race car (older than the RSR models represented in GTL).
I included a small sample of the mentioned real recording in this package ...just for the curiosity or for a comparison with ingame sounds, I guess it's worth the listen. ;-)
...Now prepare your speakers (or headphones) and put the volume up!
