Conversion from rFactor to GTR2/GTL/Race 07 by Sergio Hundo
Thank to E1Weon18, the track's creator to rFactor for permission and give for us the opportunity to run that track in GT Legends. I reworked practically all the ads for this track. In the rFactor version there are many on the sides of the track...I took it out and redid it for a less ad look. I changed several textures, including the pit area, asphalt, objects... I hope you like the changes... I corrected the positioning of xfinish, because the startgrid started at a point and the end of the race occurred at the entrance of the pit. And I removed all the corner beds, which made the cars hit and turn... there was no way... I had to remove... This track features 24 cars in grid. No rain reflection.
Known Issues:
- The AI's sometimes cross some side barriers, mainly in some curves and even leave the track in two of them (this detail more in the Race 07 version)..., but they come back and don't "disturb" the race. But the player's car doesn't do that, as the barriers are solid for him. Interestingly none of this happens when racing against an AI only.
- I reworked shadows on some objects, but I noticed that changing the time of the races, sometimes some shadow appeared on the trees. It may not even be noticed, but it is recorded here.
- In the GTR2 version, on the way inside the pit, when the AI controls the car, in a curve, it takes a while to make the curve. In Race 07 and GTL versions this does not happen.
- This track has some 90º curves and the AI's have difficulties to make this type of curve, causing "traffic jams". I suggest grid of 10 or 12 cars or be patient with them...
About the specialfx.tec file:
I tested with the original files of all versions of SimBin games. Everything worked perfectly, but I will always suggest using the most up-to-date file.
