If, like me, you've spent a lot of time driving in Live for Speed and have been searching for a camera setup that feels similar in Assetto Corsa, you now have a reason to be excited. Thanks to the work of jordash.681324 and some of my own modifications, I've attempted to create an experience reminiscent of LFS, particularly concerning the camera, movements, and various tools that enhance your overall driving experience.
Installation:
1. Download and Unzip to the Assetto Corsa folder directory.
(assettocorsa\extension\lua\cockpit-camera\lfs-camera)
2. Navigate in Content Manager to CM>Settings>Custom Shader Patch>NeckFX
3. Enable and select the script.
Default Settings:
View lock mode: Car / Filter / Horizon
Car: Will lock in the Car Camera
Filter: the value of View Filter Time will be the response timing in the camera transition, between Horizon lock to Car lock.
Horizon: Higher value will gives more Horizon lock strength
Neck look Angle and Position:
Basicaly you can make the Adjustment of neck angle and position.
Draw Arms / Wheel:
Function to Hide the Driver, Wheel.
Lock Function Settings:
It is still being tested, only Steer is working.
basically it selects the axis to head be following.
Acceleration shifts viewpoints:
G-forces Head Position based on Acceleration effects.
LAST WARNINGS:
When this lua script was made, it was running on CSP preview 0.2.1preview2
Make sure you are on the most recent Content Manager which exposes the script settings options.
