Now I'm starting to look at the reliability effect on my team mode for the gearbox and overall engine.

After several seasons, the effects of reliability upgrades could be huge.
And I saw less and less penalties for IA cars/teams after several seasons as their teams developed all their reliability improvements.

Today, by default, these upgrades provide a gain of 50% on mechanical wear for each of them.
It's huge, I'll try a 10% for example.

So maybe to include in a future version.
I think my goal is achieved for the balance of the team (v6.4).

Example :

Throughout Season 1, i had a great Mercedes/Red Bull/Ferrari fight all season for the championship. The winner was finally C Leclerc in the last final race. (maybe I got lucky :roflmao:!)

I finished far from them :redface: .
- small update of Ferrarri chassi mass (again).

The overall balance of team performance may change in the future, based on additional feedback and testing.

I try to find a balance to slightly boost Ferrari (for previous version 6.X, the boost was to high). The goal is not to have exactly the same performance as the 2022 season which has just started :p.

The goal is to have a better overall balance and not just Mercedes or Red Bull alone at first positions ;).

You can copy/past this version above previous one it's not an issue.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay, I'm out of time :thumbsdown:.
After some testing, here is a new update after version 1.13 ;).

Comments :
  • The option for cold tires at start-up is removed.
  • Aero settings are stable now : small increase of dirty air and speed inside slipstreams are the right values for a realistic challenge (-5% vs original values for F1 cars, -10% for F2 cars).
  • The Damage mod is now installed by default, still based on ilja23mia's suggestions.
  • This update contains the latest updates for cars from version 1.13.
Hello,

- compatibility with 1.10 patch
Tyre compounds for F1 updated to be fully compatible with patch 1.10 (especially with new T ° and tyres characteristics)
- update for slip stream effects to be more realistic
F1 :
0.75% for lift and 0.85% for drag effect reduction under slipstreams.
F2 :
0.80% for lift and 0.80% for drag effect reduction under slipstreams.
So, caution if you stay too long under 0.6s behind an other car. Overtake or keep 1s. ;)
- new side skin for tyres (only with damage addon)
- removal of the modification of the chassis weight for Mercedes of previous versions. So the mod will keep the official car performances of the patch v1.10.

<DamageScale value="0.0001" />
<ChassisDamageMultiple value="0.8" />
