Here is my First Track for Assetto Corsa.
Course de côte de Massongex, the Hillclimb race with a difference.
The route safety on the partly very bumpy road is limited to a minimum,
the vehicle inspection is in St. Maurice
Data:
The event was entered in the national sports calendar of the ASS as a race approved for foreign participation.
Unfortunately, the mountain race has now been completely cancelled.
The event counted for the following championships and cups:
Swiss mountain championship
Swiss mountain cup
Various championships
as well as for the sports badge of the ASS
The event took place on the stretch of road between the villages of Massongex and Verossaz.
The route has the following characteristics:
Length: 3150 meters
Start: approximately 150 meters after the Massongex exit
Destination: about 20 meters after the sharp left turn before entering Daviaz.
Height difference: 311 meters
Average gradient: approx. 10.03%
Massongex was a traditional Race in the canton of Valais (1984).
No championship was held in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
SIM:
The route corresponds to the version that has been driven in recent years, it was mixed up a bit when it was created.
The route was recreated using onboard videos and modern GPS data.
The paddock was designed for the game and does not reflect the real thing.
