INFORMATION: All personal career helmets from F1 2019 and F1 2020 are compatible with F1 2021.
This archive only contains visor strips and not the classic helmets that you have to download separately.
As explain above, you may have noticed that career helmets from F1 2019 and F1 2020 can be used with F1 2021. But there are some things wrong. There is a slight offset between the helmet and the wing, and on the top of the helmet. Horizontal and vertical lines are a little wavy too. This is not very visible in game and not very annoying.
But the most significative difference is that the visor attachment don’t use the same UV mapping in this new game so the visor strip is messed if you use the one from the classic helmet from previous games. That why I made this visor strips update to fix it for all the classic helmets I made for the F1 2019 and F1 2020.
In this archive they are sorted by teams and by years (some visor bands have been the same for several years as for Williams for example and in several teams, pilots do not use exactly the same visor band like Schumacher and Barrichello at FERRARI. You will easily find each of them in the archives).
Installation:
In F1 2021 the helmet textures files are located in several ERP files. To correctly use the visor strips in the game you have first to download the classic helmet you want to use (you can easily find them in Racedepartment).
To install it, use EEA 8.0 to replace the files in the following erp files: (important: don't forget to correctly set the path to the game in EEA settings)
The following example is for Aiden Jackson’s helmet. XXX stand for the Classic Helmet files you want to use and YYY is for the visor strip from this update:
