It took me this long to finally found the official Toyota Supra Super 6000 mod that the official eSuperrace Championship in South Korea used, but surprised to find that there are so many things wrong with its data.
Therefore I decide to update the data.acd to reflect how the real car actually works in the real life championship there :
- Removed DRS (because why)
- Removed KERS (same reason as above)
- Removed 7th gear from the drivetrain (the real car only had 6 gears)
To-do list on the data :
- Find a way to delete the turbocharger (the real car uses naturally aspirated GM LS3 engine)
- Change the shift animation to sequential stick shifter animation
- Remove two out of three tire compounds (there are no tire changes on the real race, all cars uses one compound)
As a bonus, I added a livery of my favorite driver on the Superrace's Super 6000 class, Roelof Bruins from AtlasBX Motorsports.
This was also my first ever attempt at painting in 3D using Adobe Substance, though adding logos in that was a total nightmare to work with, so I keep jumping back and forth between Substance and Photoshop to complete this livery.
Still trying to find a way to make the livery into full chrome though, because the actual livery looks amazing.
Everything is mostly provided here. Driver suit, helmet, gloves, Hankook tire texture, pit crew wearables and the pitbox color are all included in the package.
Extract the ZIP file into assettocorsa/content/cars/superrace_stockcar_2021 (overwrite when asked).
