Reupload of my addon to the Flags mod. - No link as original creator does not want any credit given on my addon.
*** I have now removed any content made by the original creator in this upload version, and addressed what needs configuring in the install instructions below. ***
Original creator does not to want me to link any of their work, so you can find the 'Base' mod on RaceDepartment somewhere.
Anyway, This addon changes the flag that are displayed to a simple background-less neon-style light bar.
Installation instructions: (Looks more complicated than it is, promise!)
Step 1:
Download the mod, mentioned above (Sorry, I literally cannot link at the risk that the Original Mod Creator takes my addon, down again.)
Step 2: (CREATE BACKUP)
head to assettocorsa\content\gui\flags And change them all to 'OFF{colour}flag'
Step 3: (CREATE BACKUP)
You then want to add these into the location: \assettocorsa\apps\python\AC_Flags\icons And change them to 'OFF{colour}flag'
* DO NOT CHANGE 'noFlag' *
Step 4: Drop the contents of the download into this location.
Step 5: open the AC_Flags.py file in assettocorsa\apps\python\AC_Flags using a text editor.
Locate and Amend the following values:
width = 48 # 150
height = 8 # 80
scaled_width = width * scale
scaled_height = height * scale
Save and Close.
Finally, Set the following values in CM:
(Should you find that the bars are too big, please decrease the 'Scale' (4) value.
This works for:
Green (Race Start)
Yellow (Incident Ahead)
Blue (Fast car approaching)
White (Last Lap)
Black and White (Penalty)
Checkered (Finish)
Black (DSQ) (WIP)
