Track looks good and is fun to drift around, but the racing layouts are an afterthought at best. The (small) grids are not on the actual circuit, so on Tsukuruma you lose the first lap of the race just entering the track. Whereas on Reverse you have to make a sharp turn at the start.
The Pallete Nasu layout is even more baffling, as the racing line inexplicably cuts a corner then completely skips the start/finish line so the lap never ends.
There's also no collision on surrounding objects like the billboards (same problem on other 90sGDS tracks) to keep you in the circuit if you have an accident.
The layouts need new grid spots (at least kart-size) on the actual straights and Pallete Nasu needs a proper racing line. It doesn't matter whether the grid lines exist in real life, this is a racing game first and foremost.

Even though it's a small track, the performance is significantly worse than on default tracks, i had to turn off all graphical tweaks. Not complaining tho, i have a potato GPU

Its two great drift tracks. The top one I like to drift the lawnmower mod on. How come I never get a recorded lap time on either track? I tried going both ways on both. Do I need to include the dirt or something?

If you are on freeroam, it doesn't have timer. The rest have it respectively.
