The "definitive version" of my mod is finally here, now that I have a better understanding of the performance of the 2022 cars, because they have been very inconsistent through the start of the season.
This time instead of making a very clear order of the teams from best to worst, there are teams that I tried to make very close as their positions can drastically vary, especially the midfield teams.
This will lead to very different results based on the race and also on the conditions, as some cars might be suited better than others depending on the situation.
This means that instead of having a list of the teams from worst to best I have now made a tier system.
Here are the performances of the teams
Tier 1: Ferrari, Red bull
Tier 2: Mercedes, McLaren
Tier 3: Alpine, Haas, Alfa Romeo
Tier 4: Alpha Tauri
Tier 5: Williams, Aston Martin
There isn't really a clear difference between Midfield and Bottom field, which makes it so all the 6 teams in tiers 3, 4 and 5 can have their positions drastically differ from one race to another, or at least that's my objective.
This however might lead to a problem that causes them to pile up in the races and make a "train" where they are all close to each other and no one can really overtake.
If this problem becomes significant I will release a separate version with more distinct gaps between the teams, however this order won't please everyone as it would be very subjective.
This is getting too long so here's a qualifying example:
(Again this is only one track and performances change depending on them, just like in real life)
(I played as Kevin Magnussen just to show that Haas doesn't suck it's the AI of Mazepin and Schumacher that suck)
As always feedback is appreciated as I'm not able to test what happens with my mod in every single possible situation.
I also added an Installation guide for those who asked
