The most of us are experienced RACE drivers who played the current RACE game for some months now. What would you like to be changed in RACE 07. Please put down useable suggestions. We make a small summary here in the toppost and send them to SIMBIN

Game suggestions:
- Friendlist to see who is online and in what server
- Rolling starts
- Shared setups online (but not as messy as in GTR2 please)
- Driver names displayed on the car
- Penaltyweight in online races
- To see fuel level on the HUD
- Brighter colours in cockpit view (too dark now)
- Re-enter the pit after being on the startgrid
- Slomotion and Superslomotion option in replays
- Real headlights (real lighting and illumination of the track).
- Fully functioning and selectable pit-stop features. (for endurance)
- Day and night change.
- Smoother animation of head movement and physics for inside view.
- Better Dynamic weather and lighting system.
- Feature to change players car inside server, instead of having to exit and return to pick a new car.
- More realistic offline championships for all cars
- Qualification: possibility to complete the lap which started before the clock reached 0 sec remaining
- Mandatory pitstops: possible to set the server that all drivers need to make a mandatory pit for longer races then only sprint
- G-Racer compatibility with G-15 keyboard
- Two-wheels-on-track rule
- Race school: learn to drive offline like in GTR2
- Registered user names. You have to register your playername with emailadres or ip (see server kick and ban options)
- Possibility to host bigger rooms (more then 25 players: Lets say up to 35-40 players)
- built in hotlap competition, linked to RPM site (or ghost car you can switch off, but that is option no.2 only... lol)

Server suggestions:
- Server admin in game (more admins can kick/ban from in the game)
- ip or, steam id ban, to keep rammers out
- add tracks to roomlist without restarting server
- racing minutes instead of racing laps
- fixed setups

Bugs to fix:
- Stop and Go bug
- Cutting possibilities on some tracks like Monza, Magny Cours, pitstreet of Valencia, Curitiba 1st corner, Oschersleben chicane, Istanbul last triple, Curitiba all corners etc etc etc....
General 2 wheels on the track rule please (2 wheels inside or max on the curbs)
- Replays not saved bug

The addition of a "two wheels on track" rule is much too strict - yes, when you're driving flawlessly this is a good rule but we all make mistakes every now and then and brake too late or lightly for a corner and more than 2 wheels go offtrack. Should we get SnG's for this too?!
...we all know how inflexible the current rules are, in the sense of; if someone rams you from behind and your car cuts a corner as a result, YOU get the warning/SnG even though it was entirely the rammer's fault.

I would suggest having an option put in to the game for use in online tournament play where yes, you'll get SnG's for speeding in pitlane, driving wrong way around track etc. but that penalties for cutting corners aren't given to the racer while he races, but that a notification will be saved on the server that will warn Stig for example that hetfield2k cut corner 4 at MagnyCours, he could then check the replay to see if it was a genuine mistake/rammed from behind and take action as he sees fit.

I'm just spitballing here but this is the best way I feel to fix this problem, can you guys think of other ways to do it, or ways to improve my suggestion? Cheers

weight-penality in race... (very important !!!)

a simple WYSIWYG skin editor in the option for change:
- name on the car
- flag on the car
- colour of the car

in this way even who don't have any sknny ability will drive a customized car!

include all the flags from the whole world....& not just popular ones......

It could be good to see more time between the diferent seasons and not only two minutes. When it´s a race in a tourney you need to have more time before next race...

Too bad the list is already sent to simbin.
Because the yesterday's GTR2 race showed a real need of a "restart current race" function.
And not a "restart server/event" (qualifying positions get lost)

Maybe Stig could send this note to simbin additionally?
(if considered as a valid improvement)

It is already in the game lars.. .we can restart races in RACE just like in GTR2..

that the list is sended doesnt mean we cant send a new one so if you guys have more suggestions please post them !!!

Yes you are right Lars... Sessions and not seasons....

I was thinking that maybe thay can add more visible flags at every circuit.
I mean, if there is a crash in Macao you recieve via radio a "Yellow flag in sector 2" but that´s much general. It would be good to have very visible flags in the corners before the crash... I don´t know, but I think it don´t works fine at the moment.

Before the refuel pack, I think that there is no more the "asking for position" and "asking for damage" buttons, and I miss them a lot... because sometimes you don´t know if you have any kind of damage in the car.

if we not had to renovate my Clio engine i would have been on the circuit now and watched the formula 1 tests there this week

Yaco Toyota Corolla. It's been in both seasons of WTCC yet not in the game. It's raced more than the 407!

Also. car skinning should return! It was one of the best things about the previous games, and is best suited to RACE because you can make cars from other series, for instance, Eoin Murray's BTCC Alfa.
