Wheel advice needed

Hi,

I have been using a controller since I have been playing racing games, now I want to take it more seriously, and try a few serious sims I am looking to buy my first wheel. My budget is about £200.

I have done a bit of research and have learned there are so many to chose from. Now my main dilemma is that I play GT5, Forza, and F1 (360 & PC), and from what I can see there aren't too many wheels that go across all 3 platforms. Has anyone got such a wheel?

I am leaning towards the Logitech G27, my other option is the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel, which is cheaper so would free up funds for a stand as I have no desk to mount it on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Woz

this is probably your best option for a wheel to cover all three platforms but a little more money is needed..

Thanks for that mate,

I have gone with the Fanatec, looking at a few reviews it looks like a really good wheel for the money. I will pick up a wheel stand pro too I think.

Thanks again for the help,

Woz I have the Fanatec CSR (value pack so with CSR pedals).
Very happy.
I bought a cheap workstation from an office supply shop for £30.00 and the standard fanatec supplied clamp works fine. I drive F1 2011, Raec Pro on Xbox and RFactor on PC. its great

I've just gone and bought myself the wheel stand pro too :(, nevermind, I can't wait to get it all set up! Almost feel silly that I was considering the G27, seems you get so much more with the Fanatec, I know I'm missing the shifter but I will be playing f1 2012 mostly.
