F1 2010 Time Trials pt2, #21 - Sepang, Malaysia (Wet)

Welcome to the RD TT Series!

This time the circuit is Sepang, Malaysia, and the conditions are Wet!

Closing date for entries is Monday 11th April 9.00 pm GMT(+1)

A reminder of the rules:

No assists are allowed.
Custom setups are allowed.
A screenshot (PC) or photo (PS3/XBOX) of the leaderboard showing your time must be uploaded to the forum for verification.

Please note: Conditions are wet, as we have already covered the track in dry conditions.

Dont forget you need to post a shot of the leaderboard mate. Otherwise we cant tell that there were no assists used.

I'm actually ahead of Viktor in sector one (albeit very, very slightly), but he gains a whole bunch of time on me on sector 2

I tried to improve my ghost but I just couldnt make it

And you were faster in sector 1, I wasnt even close my ghost in sector 1.

viktor, from racing your ghost there is one turn where I think you can still find some time on that already crazy fast lap. I invariably get ahead of you at turn 4, you brake a tad too early there imo. However 6, 7, 8 and 10 you destroy me, that's where that extra second comes from lol

ok thx! I will try to see if I can improve by doing that, the problem is that you always need to be better on the bad parts of the lap but still be as fast in the other parts at the same time too

Well iv'e been beaten but why not, within 2 laps i knocked 2 seconds off.

for sure, yesterday I was nicely ahead of my ghost throughout the lap (still behind yours in s2 and s3 tho

), only to stuff it up royally at the last corner....TT is pure frustration at times lol

how do you take 5 and 6? Do you keep full throttle? I guess with your high wing settings it might be possible, I got 4-1 wings and need to lift off slightly and drop from 6th to 5th gear entering turn 6.

Also how do you take turn 7 and 8, I go in at 4th gear, drop down to 3rd mid corner, then quickly back up the gears. Staying in 4th is possible but slows me down to much on corner exit.

Oh boy I'm so far off the pace here!! My first bash tonight and the best I managed was a 1:39. I can see where I would gain few seconds perhaps but nowhere in the world could I ever find another 7 seconds!!

I cant upload my screenshots... But I improved my assisted lap times using no assist..It was incredible to improve them

Well done on the improvement! See - you thought you wouldnt do it!

As for uploading, it appears they have removed the ability to do this. Even going 'advanced' and managing attachments, it says .jpg is invalid. So you will have to host your image elsewhere and link to it.
