For what reason the option is available?
Also I've redone the tests with the suggested settings. Still the same results in my case.
Not sure, but usually when I try and compare things I don't mess around with variables for the sake of them just being there.

Steer assist changes the FFB response to high speeds, 100 is linear. Kunos keep their GT car linear, ours default to linear.

When comparing two cars in AC, i don't jump between a single screen and VR just because the option is there, i choose one and stick to it, remove all unnecessary variables.

What a beautifully modelled stopwatch @chargingcar ...

erm... oh... can't see the times:roflmao::p

P.S. I need a lot more laps in these cars... still not got the hang of the throttle blip and kept screwing up at croft, mainly on downshift... it's very bumpy but that makes it more challenging.

Its not necessary to explain same things twice:
Steer Assist in cars like these probably isn't really necessary. 100 is linear.

Its useful for very high-downforce cars, which I wouldn't categorise these as. It can be used to help avoid clipping at high speeds when you have huge downforce loads but don't want to sacrifice FFB at low speeds - for example, I like to use between 75-85 for the Formula Hybrid.

As for why its in the setup menu? Don't know, i'm not the right person to ask. But its the same with cars that have the brake power option - thats not really necessary in most cases either, but its still there.

Again you are right about the settings for a comparsion. So I've redone the tests again with your suggested setting:
....And also the default value of 100 dosn't change the basic feeling :(

So this kind of discussion is just senseless and will not lead in any success.
I just posted MY opinion about your work. I bought it but I don't like it for the mentioned reasons.

That said I've done today a few laps with the three cars at Nord Tourist. (T300RS/G25 pedals with brake load cell brake)
First I tried the Kunos Maserati just for some kind of comparsion. Just for the feel of the car.
All cars driven with default setup with exception "steer assist" to 75.
First impressions: WOW great work  Fantastic 3D models, awesome graphics and immersive sounds :inlove:

But after some driving there are some things I really don't like.
The biggest problem for me is the feeling of the cars :cautious:
All three cars feels lost and disconnected to the road. Especially the "floating" Lister.
Its like Project Cars 2 FFB. On/off feel without smooth translations and not really informative about the behavior of the cars  A lot have to be done be knowledge and visuals and not about feel.
To be honest: I hate the provided FFB

The sound of the Viper (internal) is weird at acceleration. Like some fast digital cut offs. Ofc without hitting the limiter)

Some small issues to add:
- a lot of flickering (z-fighting) at the display of the Lister
- to bright display illumination for Viper and Lister
- missing flash lights for Lister (also there should be a visual feedback for it like in the Ferrari)
- the F6 cam (straight backwards) is not really useful for RMH user. More a showcase of the rear wing.

In my opinion the "RSS GT1 Championship" mod have a great potential to be a fantastic addition for AC  but at the moment not really useful for me mostly because the strange feeling of the cars and this is for me the most important thing in AC.

I had very similar thoughts about the FFB, but I don't want to say it's not good at all.
The overall quality of this mod is so high, I would say it's almost perfect. There are only 2 things, where is still room for improvement IMO.
1. The FFB sometimes isn't really informative for sure. Similar RSS mod: Formula 79. All of your other cars are very good in this (too).
2. Everybody's praising it, so I had the fear it's only me or my system, but today I watched somebody's video at my workplace and had the same feeling. The sounds are a little digital for me. They sound beautiful, crisp etc, but a little computerish. I'm talking about the interior sounds in cockpit, I don't care exterior sounds at all. Oh no, I heard them in the pit driving by, it was very cool :)

We need a sexy rating imo.

More than sexy, this car looks badass :devilish:

Basic dashboard layout now in place, looks like it fits quite nicely :D

so far its a pretty "roadcarlike" interior. Interesting for example to see the air channels in the A-pillars intact
Some of these cars do not have enclosed door cards so I imagine when the doors are closed will come through the vent , through a seal in the door and then into the interior maybe , nice detail will look nice in the showroom :)

That's right it's a vent that goes through the doors into the cabin, and adds a nice detail there when the door opens apart from the shock absorber that holds it in place (still not modeled though)

Well apart from that and the vent covers there's nothing left from the road car actually, the entire dash is basically a shell, will be either carbon fiber or alcantara, haven't decided yet.

EDIT Upon further inspection, i realized the one with the spastic wheel is just rare road-going version. Phew.

Indeed it'll be based on the Sparco P310 ;)

It will, and I'm sure it'll drive everyone crazy :roflmao:
The "turn with the wheel" thing changes from season to season i think. Some cars from different seasons even have a larger traditional motec. But anyways, glad to hear you'll use both the p310 and the "attached to wheel" motec. Thanks.
