Restoring backup

Hi guys.

I've bought GTR Evo via Steam. Downloaded it on my XP Pro 32 bit OS and recently backed up the game.

Yesterday I installed Windows 7 64 bit.

Will the backup restore and work correctly or do I need to dowanload from scratch?

Steam game files are not OS-aware.

You can run the same steam installation in a multiboot system and it doesn't care. I have XP and Win7 on this machine and they both use the same steam directory.

So - Yes - you can restore it.

The great thing about Steam backup is that it's tied to your account, not your computer.

You can restore your game files on any computer, anywhere. All you need is your account login.
