MotoGP 24 players can use the game to enter a design contest.

Using the in-game crash helmet edit, one MotoGP 24 player will create a design to be worn by Maverick Viñales in an upcoming real-world grand prix.

Once again, this year’s game will have a crash helmet editor feature, allowing the creation, sharing and downloading of community designs.

From 9th May to 6th June, there will be an in-game competition to create a design for the Spanish Aprilia rider.

A pre-made template will be present, with mandatory sponsors and logos affixed. The rest of the look, however, can be customised, with the winning design to be recreated for a 2024 event.

The contest is open to those with MotoGP 24 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, but not Nintendo Switch.

Viñales is on a run of form presently, taking his first race victory since 2021 at the Grand Prix of the Americas earlier this month.

Developer Milestone is no stranger to such initiatives - previously, a track made using its Monster Energy Supercross game was created in a US stadium to hold a bike race.

MotoGP 24 will be released on 2nd May, and we expect to publish our full review later this week.
