RDRC Season 4 - General discussion

I was thinking of driving either the new Celica ST165 (if it is available on the plugin by then) or the Twingo for the next season, but then I read that 2WD will be discontinued. So now I am hoping for that Celica to come to the plugin ;)

There is a Celica ST185 and a Legacy already made for the game, but that Celica seems to be an illegal conversion from a different game and will not be used on RSRBR. The Legacy I am more unceratin of, I know they are using it on the Czech plugin. Might be some bugfixes or something delaying it on RSRBR.

Here is the thread of the 165 in the works/available on the rallyesim site (not in plugin yet unfortunately) http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewtopic.php?f=153&t=12487
I believe it not to be illegal, but dunno. Moku has just finished a legal version of the 165 recently too.
The legacy on CZ is useless too, can't run it properly and is overall a terrible model :(
I hope someone makes a decent one soon, is an amazing vehicle.

Hello!

Sorry for posting this problem here, but I haven't found a better topic to this...

So, I wanted to update my RSRBR, but I'm unable to download the Update 3, because it's only downloading a 168 bytes EXE file instead of 66 MB...where else can I download this update?

Thank you for your help in advance! :)

P.s.: never mind, meanwhile I solved the problem.

Ok and where can I see when the rally's are drivin? (time day and wich route)
And where can I sign up?

I'm sorry but I'm a bit new to rally and need to learn alot, but my times aren't bad.

Round 7 will be held from 18th to 21st of August.
You can drive on any of those days, at 02:00, 10:30 or 19:00 GMT.

The exact stages used in Round 7 will be posted a couple of weeks before the start.

Here are the rules: http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/rdrc-season-4-rules.44729/
And you can sign up here: http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/rdrc-season-4-sign-up-new-thread.46843/

If you're new to using RSRBR, check the Richard Burns Rally forum for some useful threads on installing and using RSRBR: http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/forums/richard-burns-rally.137/

Also Robbie, in case you aren't aware. We have a Rally Club with Events held every week (Mondays & Tuesdays), not as serious as the RDRC but still lots of fun and a chance to use heaps of the cars and stages available in RSRBR.

Details here:
http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/forums/rbr-rally-club.138/

We'd love to see you join us. :)

Ok I finally got my account activated on RScenter.
So now I wanna join a public server, I open RScenter and click on public session.
But then I see some servers on the right but how can I join one of them?

First I will join the monday races and then I will see to join the championship! :)

Sounds like the best move. Join both (Rally Club and the RDRC Series), they are run very similarly with mostly the same drivers. Use the Rally Club to get some experience with how RSRBR works (and have some fun :D ), but also make sure to sign up for the RDRC too, and maybe do a Qualifying Run to get your Grading, which will help you to choose your car.
You have a few more weeks before the next Round of the RDRC starts again.
