Briefing
Regulations. First of all, please make sure you have read the
RaceDepartment League Regulations. The document is ready for revision, but the important parts are still valid.
There are some rules of fist for the on track conduct. Some of it is already in the RD League Regulation, some of it might vary depending on the situation. Whatever the situation, this must be your initial approach:
Faster Cars
- You have the responsibility for picking the right moment to initiate a safe pass... and safe it must be!
- Try to initiate passes coming on the the straights, rather than in a corner or on corner entry.
- If you must pass at corner entry, make sure you are well alongside (at least 50%) before the turn-in point of the slower car. Do not try to pass inside when the slower car already turns in.
- Try to pass through places the slower car will not go, which generally means going off the prefered line.
- If you feel you might not get there in time, pick a line early, keep some reserves (prepare to brake) and see how the slower car responds. Perhaps the slower car will cooperate, but if he does not, you must pull out.
- Accept the fact that you will lose time behind slower cars. Every faster car has this problem.
Slower Cars
- Generally you must simply keep to the racing line and await the passes of the slower cars. This is the preferable method, because it makes you predictable. After all, everyone knows the prefered line.
- When you pick a line, try to stick with it through a straight or corner. Changing lines right in front of someone might lead to accidents.
- Cooperate with safe passes. Don't make it hard for the faster cars. Remember, the faster they pass you, the less time you lose being passed.
- If you get passed, try to be clear before you turn in. Perhaps you must brake a little earlier, but that's a small price to pay for not having to go two-wide into a corner.
- Accept the fact that getting passed might lose you time. It's a fact of life in endurance racing. Nothing you can do about it but try to speed up the process by cooperating.
Damage. When you crash, it is important to keep your head in the game. Brake the car to a stand still, check your F3 (Relative) and see whether or not you can return to the race line safely. Do not move if other cars are incoming!
If you try to return the car to the pit driving, make sure you can do this safely. If you can't drive it in a more or less straight line without making all kinds of unexpected manoeuvres, you are advised to park your car off track and press escape for a tow. This is important to prevent crashes.
Pitstops. The Endurance Pits layout has the long pitlane. You enter it in the middle of the former busstop chicane and exit it at Eau Rouge/Radillon. Driver on the track need to be aware of the dangerous pit exit and make sure people that exit the pits get sufficient room (marked by the white pit exit line) to make it safely back on track.
Chat. Try to keep chatting to the minimum. Chat only if it's necessary of desirable. Do not go about venting your frustrations over text or voice chat. If you need to chat elaborately with a driver, make sure you use private chat. Type: /#00 (startnumber) and press enter. Note that any foul language might have consequences for your participation in future events.
Broadcast
This event will be our first broadcast with ETV. The race will be streamed live both on RaceDepartment and ETV. Please make sure you come prepared and behave like a gentleman. Let's make this series shine!
Every driver is asked to come to the
ETV TeamSpeak during or after the race. This way the commentators can
interview you about your experiences. You will likely not be disturbed while driving, but a few questions
during a pitstop or
when you've crashed out or
finished the race will make the broadcast that much more interesting and interactive.
So join the ETV TeamSpeak at

Incident reports
If the regulations are breached during the event, an incident report can be filed. To do this, please send an e-mail to
Yoeri Gijsen with the following information:
- Names of the involved drivers (including your own)
- Description of the incident (as objective as possible - leave your emotions aside)
- A replay of the incident from at least 5 seconds before the incident until 5 seconds after (mind the size)

Every driver that signs up for the competition is expected to join its events. Anyone that does not enter an event without giving
prior notice of his absence will be
replaced by a driver from the
waiting list.
If you cannot participate please take the following steps:
