Pre-season race 2 - Silverstone - Qualification

Look out people, this is just a test. Well if this is just a test, what should we expect when the season starts??? Because after having fuel trouble last week in qualification, teams really stepped up and we got incredible 10 riders in .5 second. Last week Rossi couldn't finish his fastest lap due to going out of fuel, but this week he showed what he is made of and got the pole. Just ahead of last week pole-sitter Stoner and Toseland in 3rd. In second row was another DTK, Smith, followed by both 2KF1's.
We also heard that judges managed to get only a drop of fuel for test, from Dani Pedrosa.:D
Mars-Tech has missed this session as it looks like they had problems with transport (they are going on foot from Germany). So we hope that they will make it before Sunday's race.

Pre-season race 2 - Silverstone - RACE

Another race day is behind us and this time there was more close racing and battles and it appears that next step for teams is to practice their strategy.

Even though he took the pole, Rossi could only hold for 2nd in first 2 laps, while Stoner flew off in the distance. Having 1sec gap after first lap. Unlucky Kallio didn't even start the race as his engine failed.
Capirossi was great of the line, but Pedrosa was the star of first couple of laps as he managed to get to 3rd after starting 8th. Rossi was just falling down the grid as he was pretty conservative on his riding.
On the front Smith managed to close the gap to 2 tenths, to leader, on lap 5 but then he backed off for some reason and Stoner increased it to 4sec on lap 16. Then Pedrosa started pushing and took 1.5 sec of Stoner in just 1 lap, but he also run out of fuel in the next lap.
The biggest loser could be 2 DTK's riders, Fogarty as he retired on last lap when he was just 2 seconds of the leader and Toseland who made 2 mistakes that took him around 8sec on lap 4 and 4sec on lap 17.

So Stoner took the win, by big 8 seconds in front of Capirossi and Saarinen. Those two had a fantastic battle from lap 5 to the finish, even elbows were involved at one point although this was just a test race.:D

Everyone:
1) Are you ok with time delay between practice/quali/race sessions? Do you need more/less days for something?
2) What do you think about the LapChart?
