It will be really tough. Seeing the speed some showed yesterday in the racing club and the fact that some aliens haven't showed their face on track yet will only make it harder :)

I am fine in whatever group ill be to be honest.

Hi all,

I just thought I should introduce my new team. My team is Toxic Terrorzz and currently we have 2 drivers running in this particular league(Marco and Philip) this will be our first ever league the team has been apart of and hopefully will be like Torro Rosso in the Sim-racing world, giving new sim-racers the experience and practice to join bigger teams such as WBR, TBR and Over Rev Racing. Toxic Terrorzz is also a massive gaming community of which has 100+ members with many events. All on the well known network called Steam. We hope that all the teams we are against have a good league and enjoy it :)

Sim racing, Every day, Every hour

Best Regards
-M

Introduction

The fourth season of RDGTC marks the return of an iconic car to RaceDepartment. One of our most succesful leagues in history was the BMW M3 league in 2007 for Simbin’s GTR 2 simulation and today we are proud to welcome the BMW M3 GT2 back into our community.

This league will be open for all licensed members but the staff holds the rights to decide who will eventually drive based on a few criteria:

Driver and team championship

RDGTC allows single driver and team entries. A team can consist of two drivers maximum.

Pre-Qualification, Promotion & Relegation

A pre-qualification will determine in which group the drivers will start the first round of the championship.

The 23 fastest drivers of the pre-qualification will be placed in Group 1. The drivers that finished the pre-qualifications on positions 24 - 48 in group 2. (note: if there is no live broadcast scheduled group 1 and 2 will consist of 25 drivers each)

After every race weekend the drivers that scored the lowest amount of points in group 1 will relegate to group two for the next race. Automatically the top 3 of each race weekend in group 2 will be promoted to group 1 for the next race. Before every race weekend the race staff will post a start grid on the forum that also includes the briefing of each race.

Liveries

Due to SimBin being totally uncooperative when it comes to releasing the skinning templates we have decided to run the league with default in-game skins for now. When there is news about the templates we will allow the creation of a custom skinpack.

Absence

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all five races of the season. If you miss an event without giving any notice the race staff reserves the right to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.
If you do need to report absence for whatever reason please do it by clicking this link

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:
• Name of the league: RDGTC S4
• The name of the reported driver (the violator)
• A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident from various angles
• A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 24 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

Live Broadcast

The RDGTC S4 first group races will be streamed live from RaceDepartment.com (to be decided)
