Just saying, but if Joel or Harvey won in Melbourne like they probably should have, it could have meant more money for Malaysia and better upgrades. I still do believe we could have challenged for the top if the luck was better. At least the top-midfield.
But DTK and especially Speedy had insane luck this season, I guess it has to happen for the expence of some others. :unsure:
Νοt too much luck when I had an off from a clearly good result in Malaysia, and finished 12th :D

DTK Season 2 Livery Preview

While for teams it's 1500$ + 500$ for contract use (optional, but has to be spent on contracts) with no bank money even allowed :cautious:
this isn't supposed to be about saving forever, use your money smartly, not save for half a season and get $3000 left over.

Thanks for bringing this up...I got another idea:p

Why not scratch the bank system for drivers and all money over the $1000 threshold is compulsory spent on car upgrades (BHP/CoF) for the team they will be driving next season.

And when teams go over the threshold, all additional money is divided over the 2 or 3 back marker teams until their threshold is reached and when that happens start dividing left over funds to the team that's 9th in the constructors championship and when their threshold is reached to number 8 etc etc

This idea is somewhat copied of recent the appeals of Marussia, Caterham, Sauber and Lotus to more equally divide the income of television rights.

James McNamara took his maiden victory in a scrappy affair at the Hungaroring. McNamara was able to keep his 2KF1 on track longer than his rivals, breaking away for the win, the second for the team after their opening round triumph. Behind McNamara was Manolis Sigoulakis in third, who had control of the race before sliding off track, allowing McNamara through. But he wasn't the first to do so, Pablo Diehl did as well earlier on, falling to fourth from an almost certain victory in what became just another one of those races for his BRT team. Tapio Rinneaho drove a solid race for DTK in second, again leading the way for the Nauru-licensed team as championship leader Jack Hunsley was involved in a curious accident involving himself, the lap down and stranded Laszlo Csako and Tim Engberink. Hunsley slammed into the stricken Monster, ripping wheels off both cars. Engberink got through, but not before acquainting his front right suspension with that of Hunsley's front right wheel. Love at first sight blossomed into full romance as Engberink's car retired half a lap later with suspension failure, thus the two cars could reunite in the pit lane.
Omer Said drove well for his 5th, but couldn't quite keep with the leading group. Joel Rautavaara took 6th, assumed to be the only driver without an incident of a major kind in the top 7. Utzer was behind, he too had slid off, leading Keranen who battled from the second last row for a return to points for the Australian. Xen Foro saw the gravel and the rear of the race numerous times, yet fought valiantly and was rewarded for the drive with 9th, ahead of Andy Black, who was in the wars too, and also fought well for his point.
But without doubt the big winner of the round was the Turn 11 barriers that was hit numerous times but failed to land a kill. But it did get 3 assists for the Hunsley/Csako/Engberink incident. Further investigation into the barrier construction was halted early due to an excessive hot chocolate break.
Thus with just 4 rounds to go, Hunsley leads by 32 points, not nearly as solid as it was previously. Diehl is in second, Engberink has lost a lot of ground, he is 50 down with just double that to win. In the constructors, DTK are ahead by 48, but 43 points are available in any one race lets not forget. Speedy are 89 behind DTK, and 41 behind BRT.
Next round is from Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. A race we feel is sure to excite.
