Rally - Realistic Volvo - Mon 7th & Tues 8th November 2011

For this U.S. guy on the east coast, the 1 pm GMT is preferable to the 3pm GMT. Starting at 10 pm, getting all juiced up on adrenaline, and then trying to get to sleep before midnight is tough.

I set 720° and its undriveable.. will be a lot of fun, I will record one of my realistic drive to entertain you too :D do you know any way to record the PC without lowering the FPS much?

What a terrible Rally for me, 2nd time ever with the car and i was incredibly off the pace, i spun on SS1 0.0 from the finish, twice, bad time on SS2 and on SS3 i had a good time but SS4 was hell, i spun 3 times and the car wouldn't move, i called for help and then, another spin, definitely not my car, what a horrible slow heavy unstable volvo this is  i coudn't have more, retired on purpose.

Well done to everyone who finished ;)

and Sebastien was just untouchable trough every stage! good job Seb

Dead last I predict, but who cares, the video is gonna be epic! :D I really enjoyed the rally and I dont believe I was able to drift like that.. Well, sometimes (at most stages) I overdid and even I caught on fire once... But it was worth it for the feeling :) I really enjoyed it. It was event just for fun and I wasnt going for a result. Good result :)

Wow... what a way to reignite my RBR fire. It became clear (mainly after 2 rolls on the Joux Plane stage) that Sebastien had this one in the bag. On a few stages though I had it within a second of his times and so I really had a win or die head on my shoulders for the last 2 stages. In Finland I was pushing too hard and ended up losing time by overdriving into a few too many corners.

Fraizer Wells was my last chance. I went for it like I didn't think I could and brought it home just ahead of Sebastien but finishing nearly 3 minutes down overall!!!

A true master class from the 2 time champion.

Thanks Guys,

Oscar.

Great rally for me, I will say a perfect event with no mistake. I think I made good times maybe the last one is a little bit slow.

This car is amazing, very fun to drive, you need to stay concentrated at each time.

Very very nice choice Senad.

Thanks everybody, see you for the results !

Had a fairly good run tonight, albeit with 3 or 4 calls for help along the way. I'm a big fan of these RWD cars and it was great fun swinging this Swedish brick around the stages (I think I even slightly prefer it to the Escort). :D

Only down point for me was a game crash going to SS1 which was identical to what I had last time in the RDRC. I've been having some pc issues lately and after I press GO for SS1 it took ages to start up, got the first loading bar and then it crashed back to RSCenter just when the choose profile screen should have appeared. :frown:

Got it. For anybody else having issues: in your RSRBR settings, set the time to GMT+1 and then let it reset your clock for you.

First time I've encountered this issue. DST related I imagine. Crappy bug.

What a great rally Paul! We had some really close races! :D Glad you decided to join the USX session, it was much fun. Overall the rally when great a few offs no cfh's. Nearly rolled at the end of SS4 but got it back and only lost around 4-5 seconds. I did drive a little cautious despite the fact that Sebastien mentioned how great his rally was. (What a surprise) The car is amazing to drive and reminds me of my beat up S10 in the winter, which is coming up all to fast! Can't wait :D Thanks Senad for taking the time to set the event up, it was truly a great drive!
