Q1: 29.6, wasn't sure that I would make it in to Q2 this time and indeed I didn't.
Race:
I was perhaps a bit too cautious at the start, lost some positions in the first corners. At the end of the 1st or 2nd lap, I was looking in the mirror while exiting the final corner when I noticed Karol beached on the curb ahead of me. I had to make a fast evasive manouver and lost a lot of time there.
A lap or so later I made a mistake while following Parisis in the 2nd to last corner and was 19th.
After that I was pushing as hard as I could but had to rely on people spinning out in front of me to gain any positions.
I managed to leapfrog JES by pitting one lap ahead of him and after that it was a lonely race for 10th place.
"Q1: was a big questionmark, had little practice for this, but knew a normal lap was good enough for top 10. Did an okay lap and I believe I even came out first in Q1.
Q2: I messed up the first sector, so I pushed a bit more in the second, the lap was not bad, but far from good either. So p2.
R: Not much action there. Started 2nd, stayed close to Bono whole race, but wasn't able to close the gap into a striking distance. My only chance was to leapfrog him, but that didn't work out either on this track. The second stint was a copy of the first, only Greco was a bit further behind, so less pressure. The car felt good the whole race, but still this Bono in front of me, who did once again a stable race without mistakes. So grats to him!
For Twister-Racing it was a good day. We scored some good points this race and are now 2nd and 3rd in the teams classification.
See you in Spain!"
"... many overtakes but big mistake at lap 12..."
For god sake will you sort your michrophone out for next race Liam, buy a new one.. or something.. 7 people who i was talking to at the start have tuned out now because of your michrophone...please PLEASE sort it out.. you have had 4 races to do so..
Great Job Liam on commentating so far. He's up to the task and does it with pleasure, and it shows! He will get more comfortable after a while, and about the communication between the camera man and the commentator. It's pretty damn impossible. The camera man must anticipate to what the commentator is saying and follow his lead. I suggest since Lee has retired, that he's gonna chip in on the broadcast and feel how it is.
