Problems after downloading DLC

Downloaded the DLC

Game starts
Select car a track
Loading screen
nothing happens
goes back to previous screen

NOT HAPPY

Came from work, bought the DLC and AC doesn't work anymore. Ouch! I unticked all apps and have tried both 32bit and 64bit options. Oh well, will experiment tomorrow. Doesn't look good.

Saw in the ac forum someone mentioning to install the visual studio redistributable 2013 x64.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2013 and install the x64.

Hmm, tried installing the 2013 vcredist, no luck.
Tried creating a new assetto corsa folder in my docs, no luck.
Tried removing all apps, no luck.
Tried verifying game cache, no luck.
Forced 32 bit worked.

Hopefully a patch will come soon

Strange some people have this issue and other don't. Win 7 64 here and no issues at all.

Yes, I have Win7 64 too, but won't run unless I tick force 32 bit.
Also tried installing the 2013 vcredist, but no luck either
Python Apps also not working, even in 32 bit mode.

Same, though I haven't added the DLC yet I wouldn't expect content to affect x64 working or not. 1.3 definitely is fine & so are my apps.

Have you guys tried a resolution change in game? It worked for me.

Disabling all apps in settings menu let me get over this.

Yes it works now. Rechoose the resolution have solve it for me.

I noticed a small update through Steam today and it works now. I haven't done anything since yesterday.

Any tios for me.I tried everything (change resolution , install vcredis ) ,and nothing.New patch did't sloved my problem with game crash when i push "start" in main menu.Yes it's true the game start when i chose in option menu "force 32bit" but i want start this game using 64 bit

.I have win7 64bit , installed only 64bit drivers and unistalll whole antyvirus etc.Thx for any tips and help.

Try clicking on acs.exe, in your Assetto Corsa game folder, if it throws up an (0xc000007b) error you should read my post on the fix for this.
