Pitstopboss News Update - 20th December 2009

Welcome to another minor update!

Another set of minor boring bugfixes today, but who knows what Santa will bring over the next few days? Let's hope he decides to turn up!

Fixed a bug with some sponsors that didn't update correctly (ones that featured specific competitions).

• Fixed an issue with the sound effect warnings so that they don't take focus away from your browser.
• Adjusted amount of hints given out with less laps driven.
• Fixed a bug that could allow several drivers from one alliance in a race.
• Fixed an issue with holiday mode that would allow a team to still be registered in the pyramid league tables.
• Added a check to remove rogue bids from players that could no longer afford the items they bid for.
• Adjusted items available for new players to make it simpler to buy a driver.
• Adjusted the 'outbid' warnings so that you only get warned if you are outbid the first instance and are only warned again if you make a higher bid (that gets beaten).
• Fixed a bug that allowed people to talk in an academy shoutbox that they were not a member of.
• Adjusted the race code so track grip is reset between sessions.
• Removed some excess javascript that potentially could have slowed some pages.

I had to make (and have to make a few more) adjustments to the race engine due to some issues that have come to light during my race testing.

Hopefully it doesn't cause any problems, but if you do notice anything out of the ordinary, please report it in the game (report a bug button)!
