Ry, if you mean the casual weds then anything goes within class. For a series they are looking at all options at the moment.

What about if we had one race of 9 or 10 laps around Le Mans as that would roughly take 40 mins or so in the Prototypes.

Not for me ..... with 4 of us it will end up as a hotlap session.
IMO club night should be around 10 - 20 mins per race and more of them. The largest grids we've had here have been for lower powered shorter sessions. If that's what you guys want though fine by me I'll catch you next time.

I think whichever way we go a decision needs to be made ASAP so that people can work on set-ups, track practice etc.

Gotta go with shorter racing at this point,Think the big 30-40 lap races we did in the past are a big reason we lost so many numbers, as it was boring been 1000s of Feet away from anybody either in front or behind you!

Why not like a 3 race 5 lap series at 5 different tracks as like a mini championship race this Friday? that way we could still get some racing between us all.

That wouldn't be too bad would it?

not a 100% sure on the weekend racing, it's bloody x factor time isn't it!!! have to let the Mrs watch her one program of the year! lol

I like the sound of a mini spec race at a selection of tracks Ry, maybe spread it out over a rolling 4 week period so to speak, weeks 1-4 for one car, then wk 5-8 another spec car and different tracks.

Might post something up for Thursday night if anybody is interested in racing, may well Try some mixed class racing with A.I. to give the fastest of us a challenge against faster A.I. and those of us who aren't as quick a chance to race in a faster car.

what do you think? anybody up for it? if so I will post something up.

As a rough outline I was thinking something along the lines of a mini John cooper mini race series at say 4 tracks such as Wk1 - Mugello Wk2 - Silverstone Wk3 - Catalunya Wk4 - Nuremburg GP and then change to another car and different tracks for Wk5 onwards, etc.

Sounds pretty much what they do over at 2o4f. Keeps the interest up with variety. They tend to go one car, fixed build, free tune for a month then change car ........ I might be cheeky and advertise our club night over there, just casually mention it as it were.

Another idea could be to have the cars stock which should ensure close racing which is what everyone is after.

Maybe we could also advertise the mini race series on forza's website too, if it gets agreed too that is.
