News & Announcements (2012)

Teams will be locked on Sunday, August 5th 14:30 GMT! Until then, you may sign-up and perform driver transfers/swaps in time for the European GP.

Useful Information:
  • Morgan Morand has scored more championship and FSR Fantasy League points than anyone else other than Bono Huis in the last two races. After the post-race penalty that cost him victory at Hungary a fortnight ago, he will be hoping to get revenge and return to winning ways at Valencia.

  • While Giuseppe Marconi (57% of teams) and Giuseppe Rainieri (54%) remain the two most selected drivers in the FSR Fantasy League, Jaakko Mikkonen moved up to 3rd in the Driver List, being present in 35% of the FSR Fantasy League teams. Previous 3rd most selected driver, Fabrizio Gobbi, is now only 6th on the list (30%), behind Marcel van der Linden (34%) and John-Eric Saxen (31%). Remember you can find the percentage of teams that have picked each driver in the FSR WC grid from the Drivers List page.

  • Jeffrey Rietveld and Jim Parisis have received Back of the Grid penalties for Qualifying infractions in the Hungarian GP. They will not be in contention for Poleman, Top Ten or Team Leader points. However, should they finish in the points, they will score many Overtaker points.

  • Raino Room has announced he will not take part in the race.

With the allocation deadline now passed, it is confirmed that championship leader Bono Huis will not be taking part in the European GP! FSR Fantasy League managers rush to make sure they have a backup driver ready in their teams. You have time until 14:30 GMT to perform driver transfers and swaps.

With a different winner after 6 in a row for Huis, how will the FSR Fantasy League round pan out?

Stupid. :( We didnt have a time to swap Morand as he wont race today :(

Sorry Milan, teams were locked 30 minutes before the start of the Practice session as per the Rules, and as it was done in every race so far.

Unfortunately, Morand's absence caught everyone by surprise. The FSR Fantasy League allows you to pick reserves for those occasions, however. It's important to try to have reserves who have made their allocation for the race, just in case.
