It seems to be a theme at many F1 tracks so it may be some rule to do with TV, highlighting the edge of the track more for the cameras.

I wonder what the plans are for releasing this track (and the cars that go with it? Will it come with V.1.0 or will they release them as a separate DLC after V1.0? I know they've said it's free for us early adopters so I don't know how that will affect their release schedule. Will they still want to have it as a separate DLC so they can charge the people that didn't get in early, or is it part of the general release now.

I thought like that the same until I was there. It really doesn't look that bad in real life. It adds something to the athmosphere that you are at a very special track.
