How to solve clutch problems?

Follow these steps:

Go to Settings
Find Clutch
Set MIN: 100 and MAX: -100
Make sure you put the minus "-" before the 100
Go ingame
Choose Setup 2
Choose autoclutch on or autoclutch off

This should get your clutch working

Never tried it with my real car

, but if it is per design, why does it disappear after 100 km, or is just the message going and I still can't do it?

PS: Was using autoclutch

The message just disappears then.

From the manual:

''Remember that the Formula 1600 has a difficult gearbox, which requires careful
handling by the driver. This means that you either have to use the clutch in order to shift up,
or you need to release the throttle and the let revs drop a lot before being able to change
gears.''

''Rookie Mode
If you are new to netKar PRO, you will see the ‘Rookie Mode’ indicators. Rookie Mode
means that new users are being supported with help messages, for example like the one
below which helps with starting the car:
Note: Rookie Mode is active during the first 100 kilometres of your career.''

Its fantastic, bet think 've ever race. After 2 days of hammering it I did a few laps in evo and couldnt believe howfar behind it really was. Hopefully we willl se tintops ina similar engine in the not too distant future.

I like Gary urge everyone to try it and to persevere through the early few km they are hard but te reward at the end is massive.
