Need For Speed: SHIFT & SHIFT 2 Unleashed

You should come join us, You can't whine about traction here ;) It's £6

Yeah £6 second hand in the shop......Or £39.99 or something on the xbox store.

I'll see if I can get a copy. When is the race?

Boothy he's up to his tits in manuals, cords, BIOS settings, and hair (if he has any left to pull). I doubt he could even find the wheel.

But, through all the heartache, I'm sure he can find www.brazzers.com.

I was gonna tell you off for linking to porn there but then I remembered this isn't my turf, haha.

Link away!

Link away!

Actually, it's not really mine either. Ooops. Well, we all saw it.

We race every Sat. alternating Autosport and Shift2...at 9pm your time. A few Newcastles are allowed during race time. The non-jiggered USA B.S. ones, of course. in fact, send some over here...I'm gonna kick it early anyway. :geek: Also, we have three really cool ovals races, all NASCARish and **** that are in Shift2.

Shift2 International GT Series
February 21, 2014 @ 9pm GMT; 4pm EST U.S.
Laguna Seca GP

_____________________________________
The game is very inexpensive, around six quid. To participate you should download the DLC that unlocks ALL of the cars (not cars and tracks, but that's cheap too). It's very inexpensive, about six quid also, and worth every penny. This can be avoided by buying the cars with game cash.

XBOX 360 SERIES

Your host will be OctoberDusk06 and this race is open to all who wish to participate, whether a full time driver (given preference) or not. There are tunes for each car available here: http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/renown-tuning-unleashed-™.196236/

1. The first race will be in time attack mode with the Hardest A.I. filling out the field. The time will be set to "long" which is about 8 minutes on most tracks. Standing start and no restarts. The A.I. will not be included in the standings, but they are "part of the track" so to speak, so contact with them is never faulted. The finishing order of this race is the lineup (in order of finish), for the next race. Full points for this race.

2. The second race will be a standing start with a parade lap so that wheels can be fixed and we can get in the proper order from the first race. No A.I. The number of laps will be 25. Points will be as explained below with no points in either race for pole or fastest lap.

The scoring system is as follows:

Points System

Points: 1-25; 2-18; 3-15; 4-12; 5-10; 6-8; 7-6; 8-4; 9-2; 10-1
(Each Race scores points)

ALL RACES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THIS THREAD, WHICH WILL SERVE AS A CATCH ALL FOR THIS SERIES.

Notice To: @Peter Hooper, @Railer Cantrell, @Matthew Booth, @Karl Fuss, @Wessel Slagter, @Chris Hempsall, @Balazs Floszmann @Michael Watts, @Dmitriy Ivanov

Haven't had a chance to get back to Shift 2 yet. Later in the week hopefully... I hope Autolog is back up and running as it's a cool feature

What sort of times are being posted at Luguna in these GT3's?

No more joking around with @Chris Hempsall. He's one of them.

Haha. I've always looked over the F1 forum. Nothing has changed. If anything this is a good thing as my main responsibility is to look over the console based forums. So XboxOne here we come! Also I will definitely be getting SHIFT now as well. I looked over the car and track selection and I cant believe I don't already have it!

Not giving up so much as not having a wheel. I figure why spend £100 and half-arse it when I can save a little and buy a Fanatec or something of high quality 2 or 3 months down the line.

I've got games up and running on it, been playing Metal Gear Rising on ultra settings. It's like a whole new world I'm just discovering.

I thought your reference to an XBO was a sign of going that route instead...

Definitely worth holding fire if thats the case but make sure you do plenty of research on the wheels.. unless Fanatec have improved greatly I would avoid them.

I think getting the XBO is more to do with the fact that prices are a bit more reasonable now and having a family makes it a lot more convenient for them to use.

Also I went on a PC gaming forum to ask for advice and they made me feel like a 5 year old with a learning disability. Not too sure I want to be part of that crowd
