I miss the old Hockenheim

I was thinking this recently,the old Hockenheim with that superlong fast straight,I was giddy as a school girl when Hockenheim came up on the calendar,now I don’t give a fat rat’s tossbag.

Was a magnificent circuit back then.

Yes i know you see more live racing on the shorter configuration. But hat is why we have big screen monitors. At Montreal i timed cars there was 30 seconds from leader to last place. And 1 Minuet of a empty track so you had to look at the big screen monitor before they came back around. And may found the woodland section a dull drag race. Apart from the chicanes which took a lot of skill to slow the car down for. But the hardest part was the slow slippery dog leg that is still there going into the start and finish.
