GT5 How do I get started?

I'M BRAND NEW TO THIS, NEED ADVICE AS TO WHAT EQUIPMENT NEED TO GET STARTED.
a BIG FAN OF LIVE f1, LE MANS AND SUPER V8.

Hi Jake. Please turn Caps Lock off when posting... there's no need to 'shout'.

I'm going to assume that by 'brand new' you mean new to racing online, and that you already have a PS3 and a copy of GT5. In that case, getting started is very simple:

1) Apply for a free RaceDepartment license, which you can do by filling out this application form.

2) Once you're approved, go to the GT5 Racing Club forum and sign up to the events that interest you.

Easy peasy!
