here's what I found at

POWER&GLORY – the tires (Part - 2)
Did some laps tonight with the default R12. After that I came here, did some research, posted this and went back to track to test the R9. I only did 3 laps so far, but they seem slower. In my reference points for 6000rpm, the car was 400-500rpm bellow, but my last lap, without changing tire pressures from R12 settings, was just 1 sec higher. They seem to have more grip, but also seem to slow the car down...I go back to fiddle a little with tire pressures, since, from my experience so far, most of the tuning of the car is made with tire pressures.

LM55 means the decade of sports car-racing between 1950 and 1960, especially the sports car world championship, beginning in 1953 and the Le Mans races. Engines with 300 HP and small tyres separate the men from the boys. They are fast and very tricky to drive.

Three cars are included. Jaguar D-Type from 1955 and 1957, Aston Martin DBR1 from 1957 to 1959 and Ferrari 250 Testarossa model 1958. First coming out of the D-Types was 1954, one car reached second place in Le Mans....

you need to click on the merc300sl Roadster to get them to show
leave them in the folder they came in thats where there supposed to sit

Installation:

Unzip the file to Your main directory of GTL.

How to Use:
===========
If You don't want to have any GTC-65 in the field, just choose the Mercedes 300 SL only. You get the three sports cars and also the Mercedes, but this is not too bad, because it is from 1957 and will harmonize with the others (except it will be slower).

Well let me put it this way this group made shift 2 a decent sim, with its tyre fix. ( i've raved about it for a while now)
So i have no doubt it will be good but maybe a bit different to the GTL we know, The tyres will feel firmer under foot,
at a guess it will be a middle ground between GTL and PnGv3

You never know we could like it that much we use it for our racing .

To Do list is missing two elements:
-Gear shift delay fix for proper heel and toe action with H-gated shifters,
-Integrating our setups into .hdc files

First is already completed, second is being done. The latter should also improve AI driving a bit.
