Note 1: We will be using both Capri's. Race1- RS2600 and Race 2- RS 3100 + the liveries from the download pack
Note 2: We are using the SIMBIN lobby for this event. See here how to switch lobby
Note 3 : We run a superpole qually, you get one chance only at a outlap and qually lap. Take it easy on your outlap and get you car in a good position to run you qually lap, leave enough room to allow for the unexpected from the car infront
you don't get another go if you have to take avoiding action..
Note 4: Unpack the Ford Capri car liveries into your GTlegends\GameData\Teams\GTC-TC-76 folder

Always a nice track, but I suspect the Capri's might be pretty "lively" around it.

The Capris are great around this track! I've been having tons of fun already practicing for this race, but i suspect I'll still be at the back of the pack xD
So only 1 person per car number or how does that work?

And once claimed noone else can use that particular number? What happens if we get more people than there are skins? What if we don't is it still one player per skin for the skins that noone has claimed or free for all? First time I've seen this claiming a skin/number so sorry for all the questions, just wanna know upfront so I don't go about pissing someone off

if you caim a skin other people will be asked to use a free skin..
if all skins are used, then we will then have to double up..
no point in us all driving the same car skin number..
And yes there might be a case that somebody will have to double up
first come first served and then the last skin used is the first skin used after..
dont read to much into it..
lets just get all the skins used..

Ok, good to know how it works, I just tend to pick the one I think look best and don't care at all what the others are running, I'll keep it in mind from now on though.

Plus as we are starting to make skins i then get a idea of what colours you guys like
For example all the Dutch guys seem to like a bit of orange .. So we need at least 4 or 5 orange style skins

I frankly don't care that much what the outside of the car looks like, I'm on the inside looking out and will be busy trying to make sure that the color of my car stays on my car and doesn't transfer to walls or other cars...

I wasn't "claiming" a number.
It's just that we sometimes advise which one we intend to use so it might help to provide a bit of variety in the skins used by others maybe using something different. It doesn't matter if we double or triple up though.

Sorry to be so dense, guys, but I seem to be having a problem with car numbers and liveries. I put the #89 and #872 folders in the GTC-TC-76-Ford Capri folder, right? But in the game I can only find a blue/white #89 and a brown #872. Where are all the other liveries? And how do I reserve one?

Brian, #89 and #872 are the default ones that come with the game, you need to download and unpack all the others to the same folder.

Brian, did you download and install this livery pack. Yes install to the folder you noted in your above post.

You should see all of the skins available in your Capri garage, but you will have to buy one to be able to drive it. I assume you have the "cheat" file installed to give you sufficient $'s.
If you don't install the full pack, you will cause problems when trying to join the Server.

Thanks, guys, all is well. I'm in #90 and #875, figuring that as I live in California that "Purple Haze" would be apropos! Those skins are gorgeous! Time to practice!
