I don't get it either, I tried putting the AI spin recovery value higher in the md.

anyway, messed up the WMC, BMW actually does lead with 113 points

Bad idea, that's the number of track sectors the AI cars check before rejoining after a spin. Higher means they might even wait longer. Don't set it too low either, else they might just drive into a passing car.
