No i just preferred driving the Super Aguri to the Renault. Sound and for some weird way felt nicer(League edition)

They are all pretty good liveries except for the Honda IMO, I wonder if Mclaren will have a new and different liverie in 2010 seeing as Mercedes I assume will be predominatley silver.

+1 for Ben! I drove SuperAguri in real life edition and also in league.Even if in the league all of them are the same,SuperAguri seams to be a little bit better and smoother.

Formula Pro - Mod and Cars Info

Since we are getting closer and closer to deliver the cars to some new drivers, I would like everyone to first take a look at the info below about the mod and some of the limitation imposed by Simbin (no one has found a way around those few issues in the modding community)

If you have any question dont hesitate to post your questions in the Q&A thread.

There are 2 options:
Using MotecDX/MotecAdd -> further info here
If you are using that fantastic realtime telemetry (dual monitors or on-screen) Alekhine implemented a feature which allows you to adjust the 7th gear and the final drive ratio right in the garage.
- "CTRL+G" (then +/-) adjusts the 7th gear (all information are displayed on the screen)
- "CTRL+F" (then +/-) adjusts the final drive.

Manual adjustment:
1. Save your setup
2. Open your setup .svm file with notepad. you setup files are saved in:
...Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\UserData\CarSetups\**Track name**
3. Scroll down to this entry:

4. To adjust your 7th gear, adjust this entry:

Gear7Setting=66

up or down. moving from 66 to 67 is the same as adding 1 click in the garage.
5. To adjust your Final Diff Ratio, adjust this entry:

FinalDriveSetting=1

up or down. Range is 0, 1, 2 or 3.
6. Save setup.
7. Alt+Tab back into game and reload your setup.

Again, there is no point complaining as there isnt anything we can do about it. It is a Simbin limitation

Optimum engine running temperature for the League Edition motor
106.4ºC/223.5ºF

Average engine life
16000 seconds / ~ 4 hours 25 minutes

Engine life random variable
5880 seconds / ~ 1 hour 38 minutes

Engine is not fitted with on-board starter as per real life

Pit stops

Again, we have contacted Simbin to see if it was possible to reduce the pitstop length (it is about ~30s vs. ~10s in RL). The short answer was "no we cant, deal with it". To work around that issue we worked on optimizing the tire grip and wear so that 1, 2 and even 3 pit stop strategies were possible in a 90mins race depending on the compound. It is still not perfect as every track is a little different, however based on the feedback from RDFOC we are very close.
