With E3 now in full swing over in LA, the team behind Assetto Corsa Competizione have revealed first gameplay from this exciting upcoming sim racing title...

We've had a couple of videos already from the title in action as driven by guests at the E3 event in LA, but today Kunos Simulazioni have released what we've all been waiting for, in game capture footage of ACC direct from the work in progress version of the title... driven by someone who knows what they are doing too!

Using Unreal 4 as the core game engine, it is immediately noticeable even at this early stage of development how much of an improvement the graphics are in the upcoming game over the current Assetto Corsa title, a simulation which frankly still does a very solid job of holding its own in the graphics department despite its relative grand old age in the sim racing arena.

Now that Steam Early Access deployment is getting closer (remember we are expecting a "summer" release at the moment), Kunos have taken to the E3 2018 event with a playable version of Assetto Corsa Competizione, running the software on the Thrustmaster stand for visitors to have a go around the Monza circuit as the title makes its public debut over in Los Angeles..

On a side note, if you want to kill some time until more info on ACC is released, why not check out the ACC Wish List thread and leave a comment, or watch our exclusive interview with Stefano and Marco on their hopes and plans for the new title HERE and HERE

Assetto Corsa Competizione should be available on Steam Early Access Summer 2018.

Since when ? Ive seen him on the AMS leaderboards ! Pretty sure he'd like to think he is a Sim racer .
He's more of a legit racing game fan(arcade racer to sim, general) rather than about sim racing.

Visibility should be more poor in the rain.

Rain, windshield humidity, water repellant product(I'm a rain x user) make light over exposed at night:

Fog at distance

Professional sim testers opinion are the one who make fate of the end result.

Guys guys, don't forget it's a pre-alpha build and it doesn't have full windshield reflection/dirt/rain layers and also helmet visor.
Kunos will implement full windshield and visor effects later on.

The point that bothers me though, is that I will have to pay for them.

What is anyone supposed to say to someone that has this view?

Are you someone that bought a 2005 Toyota Camry and then complained a number of years later when the new model came out that they didnt give it to you for free because it has a number of things you wished were included in the car you bought?

What you paid for... is exactly what you got. And that isnt even counting the ~50 updates that happened after the game officially released.

Shocking.

Ah that's nothing... you should see his PMs ;)
He loves to call names and wish we get cancer.. has done so over and over again in the last couple of years to multiple members of the team over FB, Youtube, Twitter and now here.. but hey, what can you do? I guess it's just the inevitable part of being a game developer these days.

I miss the sad face reaction that RD canned last year. This is just depressing.

It's high time someone or some university did a study on why some people are inclined to vomit hot festering garbage from their northern orifice when they cant control their emotions about something as trivial as a videogame meant to entertain.

You see this in Facebook comments, youtube comments, and even here. It's just something I will never understand.

Taken a few days to finally get caught up with the ACC news, i think im there now.

Some interesting reactions - personally there is nothing ive seen that comes close to a deal breaker.

Very interested in hearing more about the physics improvements/tweaks - for a noob like myself I've always loved how Kunos do it, especially the aero. Will be interesting to see whats changed, guessing (and hoping) some of the physics modding guru's around here have had some input.

Visually its of course a massive step up from AC which is totally expected. No real complaints there, few shadow bugs already mentioned but again, nothing that is a deal breaker.
Would be cool to hear what sort of changes needed made to the models for ACC - the latest in AC already were brilliant but these ACC versions look even better.

Have to give props to Kunos for this though:

not to mention the very long list of features added with the sole purpose of allowing modders to express their creativity.
Not everything I wished for made it to AC (solid front axles... :roflmao:) but in general AC modding has and continues to be a blast, and for many here is so much more than just a bit of extra content, for some its become a significant part of their lives. So yeah, the effort from Kunos on that front hasn't gone unnoticed, and is appreciated by creators and consumers alike
