Can the f1 rim for the CSR elite wheel be used on the standard CSR wheel?

David, I believe there might be a chance. Taking apart the elite's rim you'll find that it is mounted to the top half of the detachable column with the same bolt pattern the Porsche wheels use (4 bolts). This means the elite rim is essentially the same as a regular CSR just with a carbon sticker and the detachable column & wiring.

If the elite formula rim is designed on the same philosophy then you might be able to connect it to the csr base but you will have to do some rewiring and soldering. You could always email Fanatec or Thomas and ask them.

Hmm there may be hope thanks bud. Ive sent an email to fanatec but i doubt they will humor me as effectivley they would be down selling me a product. Wait and see thanks for that mate
