Might want to take a look at 6th gear, found it was far to slow upon the exit of turn 3 - even with KERS activated.

I'm suffering massive understeer in wet&dry conditions. Anyone who can help? The race is for 75% rain, the rest of it will be dry. What is the best setup for my car? (It is a Lotus-Renault btw.)

I'd go for a setup with gears that are for wet conditions, adjust the aerodynamic's so they suit both the dry and the wet conditions and adjust the front and rear camber to account for the over-steer.

I've made this on Xbox 360 joypad. The car was very stable and fast out from curves, very great sensibility. Let me know if you can improve this setup. Thank you
Those are wonderful settings but my tyres got destroyed in race and I lost to Hamilton 3 laps before the end. I guess you drive much smoother than I do.

Notes
Q: 1:18.089 Options with possible 1:17 cause the next lap I was 2 tenths up after S1.
R: 1:19.2 Primes lap 27 of 33

The key to save the tyres as much as possible is to shortshift and drive smooth. The only problematic tyre on this track is left front because there are two fast right hand corners (t3 and t4) without a place to cool it. New options last 6 laps, new primes 9. It's possible to extend the stints by one lap each but you will struggle a lot in the last sector. In terms of strategy - o-p-p-p (5,14,23) because the undercut may win you a lot of time. I hope this post was helpful.

I think that a public warning should be given as a private message, not in the forum, imho ;)
No, it has to made clear to everyone, that ignoring Staff, deleting their comments, and putting back what was removed by the moderator has consequences.

In this case especially when it was done twice (in 2 threads), a warning is pretty lenient

A public warning by definition cannot be private, but yes he got a PM also

bad setup
i give try 1.23.5 2 fuel full rich

I use google translate, sorry.

I did some tire test on career practice, 100% race.
1st setup to minimize tire wear:
Code:
Aerodynamics
Front Wing Angle: 1
Rear Wing Angle: 1

Braking
Balance: F 50% - R 50%

Balance
Front Anti-Roll Bar: 1
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 1

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 6
Ride Height: 6
Front Spring Stiffness: 1
Rear Spring Stiffness: 1

Gearbox
default

Engine
Fuel Map: min

Alignment
Camber Front: full right
Camber Rear: full right
Toe Front: def
Toe Rear: def

2nd setup to maximize tire wear
Code:
Aerodynamics
Front Wing Angle: 11
Rear Wing Angle: 11

Braking
Balance: F 50% - R 50%

Balance
Front Anti-Roll Bar: 11
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 11

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 6
Ride Height: 6
Front Spring Stiffness: 11
Rear Spring Stiffness: 11

Gearbox
default

Engine
Fuel Map: min

Alignment
Camber Front: full left
Camber Rear: full left
Toe Front: def
Toe Rear: def
Soft tires for both.

And after full 10 laps + 1 to go in box tire condition is:
1st setup: 35%
2nd setup: 33%
There is no difference. So, what is the point of sacrifice speed for reduce tire wear, if it no really "reduce"?

Notes
I use an xbox controller. There's more pace to be found in this set up I'm sure, with or without tweaks. managed a 1:24.6xx with a mistake at the hairpin and some other minor errors. I've found taking a wider, flatter entry into T4 takes some of the pressure off the left front, overall wear on primes is about 6-7% per lap. gears 1-4 have also been made slightly shorter. hope this helps, love to hear feedback.
