Assetto Corsa already comes with a brilliant Formula 1 style car, as a step upgrade to the Lotus Exos T125 customer car, but that doesn't stop the hardcore racing fans from demanding a more up-to-date 2014 version of the pinnacle of openwheeler racing and F1ASR is delivering on that cry from the community.

F1SR modding team, that used to create state of the art mods for rFactor has transformed into F1ASR and with the help of new dedicated enthusiasts aiming to bring to sim racing the best free scratch build community content available.

Besides content for rFactor 2 the team is now also recreating the F1 2014 season complete with all in house 3D designed cars, audio, textures and physics. All content is solely created from the ground up by a team of around 30 artists and modders that have come forward from the sim racing community.

Besides the current F1 season the team has adopted another big challenge in bringing the popular GP2 series to Assetto Corsa as well with a lot of care for miniature details as the mod will come with 13 teams and 26 individual liveries as each driver in the team has a different sponsor package.

just rebuilt the car again today , and fully animated all the suspension and everything , first fully animated car that has been done so far on the ac forums , really tricky but worth the extra efforts to make it right :)
All awesome.

Is it just me, or is the pushrod a bit too low and not mounted in the "hole" in the chassis?
the angle was wrong , when you looked from underneath the bottom of it was pushing through the bottom arm by about 4 inches , but i did not want people to flip the car and notice something looking funny , so i changed the angle , so its level with the bottom arm , everything is how it should be now ,
I did not build the model , and it was already animated in rfactor2 , but was not setup for ac ,,
so had to split all the mesh in each corner , from one piece of mesh into 4 parts , the next time i do a full car from scratch . will build it and animated everything before doing the liveries , but that is the only thing , that i had to change , but will add a yellow sticker in its place and make a new black mark , for the arm placement , to be honest it did my head in moving it , on both sides , but had to be correct :)

Ahh, ok.
To be fair, it's not exactly a huge issue - you can't see those spots when you're driving anyway ;]
I knew that would be the case when I changed the angle , but will sort it before release and do something with it , has its the same on all 26 liveries , a few are ok they are really dark blue but not checked them out as of yet , but will sort it out anyway ,
should have waited and added the ao last :)

Realistic!
The rfactor2 wheel the graphics to be honest on the wheel is alright and correct , but did not have the RPM graph , that goes from left to right , right at the top , so could have kept it like it was , but I can not do that made myself more work but needs to be right , still needs some more adjustments and things adding , but hopefully today will be sorted , just going to create the leds , for the top , the left two leds , are for the rev limiter , the middle 7 for the rpm , and the end two , are for the pit limiter , so going to create and add those , and create the animation , and add some outline graphics around the numbers ect , made them already , but need to just place them on the new screen I am creating , then last when finished going to add a piece of glass over the top so you get some reflection , and it will take away the blackness :)
but this is the best image I could find
