AI Physics and Pitting Question

Does the AI use the same physics as the player? I ask because I did at 50 lap race at a track with the Mini's. By lap 27 my front tires were solid yellow and I'd been giving up a few tenths per lap to degradation. The AI cars never seemed to slow (confirmed post race looking at lap times). I took a slightly above half fuel load and pitted but the AI didn't ever pit.

So do they run the same physics as the player? Also, when do they decide to pit?!

There should be some tyre degradation on the AI @Reiza Studios should be able to explain better.

    yes, no problem
