Are the races timed or by laps?

Are they're mandatory pit stops or not?

Even online you can't.
After one lap of qualifying, no setting can be changed (not only fuel, every setting is concerned).
I think it is a rule : qualifs have to be run with the race set up.

I just make a race of the season (50min - interlagos) and also received notification of the requirement to make a pit stop until lap 20

The real category has this obligation and I think this mandatory pit is encoded in the executable or somewhere else.

I wish I had known this before doing the championship. It sucks to drive for 20 laps then see stop and go lights pop-up :frown:. Also, do I have to qualify with race fuel?
Where can I find the rules of the championship in written form? Don't want to try it again and have another problem when the race is almost done.
