Shoya_525 updated 2023 Performance Mod with a new update entry:

Performance Mod 2023 Beta

RedBull

Ferrari
Aston Martin / Mercedes

Alpine
Alfa Romeo
Alpha Tauri
McLaren / Hass
Williams

Williams, Hass and Alpha Tauri have more dowonforce.
Alpine has a little more drag and less downforce.
Mercedes less downforce.
Aston Martin more downforce. Less drag. Less overall weight. Chassis values changed.
Red Bull more downforce.

Let me know if these changes make a difference.
I actually wanted to wait until the second race was over with an update for the mod.

How does the problem manifest itself? Same performance?
Visually it will not be visible in game.
Yeah I’m still getting base game type performance. Astons still P18-19 when I test on Grand Prix mode.

I might try and return to stock on steam and start over at some point. Again wondering if it’s on my end at this point. Seems like people are more often than not having success with the mod. Just frustrating that I can’t get it to work for me lol

The changes do make a difference I just wish the Cars Started on the Correct 2023 Grid Spots instead of Last years.

ex: Astons still start p20-p16
Does Aston Martin still start P20 - P16 for you in qualifying?
With the new values in the XML, the Aston Martin is the 2nd to a maximum of 3rd best car in the field.

In my own Grand Prix test, Vettel managed a maximum of P9 - P8.

I'm starting to think that the driver's AI is slowing down performance.

Can it be used without modular mods .... haven't read it can..... Thanks
Yes you could use it without Modular Mod. One would have to select the XML files with the EGO Erp in the folder "2022_asset_groups", "f1_2022-vehicle_package", "Teams" and then the "WEP" of the team.

But it would have to be redone with every game update.

Modular Mods is simply faster and does not need to be adjusted for updates.

Strange that it has no effect on performance for some.

Let me know if anything changes.

It's down to if people sim qualifying or go into a race without doing quali, if you sim or even quick sim quali session with cars out on track it will go to the default charts performance

For those who say the mod doesn't work.
How do you test the mod? In which mode. How does it make itself felt that the mod does not work?

For those who say the mod works.
Same questions. Where did you test the mod? Etc.

Thanks.
