and on skysport italy it is being said that he is being transported by ambulance, unconscious, because of the weather. This is from a marussia guy.

It doesnt look good, sutil himself was hugely preoccupied too

Honestly in the past they brought out the SC for everything, but at the end of last season and this season they cleared cars in very dangerous places only with local yellows.
Dunlop is one of the trickiest corners, no run off and they bring out a tractor.
At the moment I thought it is really dangerous and I was on time shift and once I fast forwarded I found out about Bianchi. I hope he is well and we wont see clearing cars in dangerous positions in the future even if people get annoyed by the SC better 5 more per season.

I wonder if FIA will punish Charlie for this? Considering how they have been operating I find it more likely that they fine the tractor driver for being in the wrong place. What a bad call from race control!

Australian TV just said that they heard he has slid sideways into the tractor.

Now while this is somewhat unconfirmed, I must say that I feel happier that Jules can recover, we know that Perez went sideways into a bollard at Monaco years ago.

But very startling news and my thoughts are with him, his family and his team at this time

Normally that wouldn't have called for a SC, but under these conditions it was so much more likely for somebody else to go off the track that they should've sent out the SC immediately....

Edit: FIA now confirmed that he indeed was taken to the hospital by ambulance and police escort. His condition seems to be worsening.

Edit: Lauda just criticized FIA for not having a clear "line" in how to deal with something like this. He said they should've either kept it quiet or told people what really happened, because right now nobody knows anything certain and this is what really unsettles people. I tend to agree.

Edit: Sutil doesn't want to comment on the accident. He only said that Bianchi's condition is critical and that he was standing right next to it, when his voice gave out.
