I heard Germany was his 100th race. He started in F1 at exactly the same time as Hamilton. Was there any races that Kovalainen missed ?

If a driver participates in practice or qualifying, they are considered to enter the Grand Prix. I'm pretty sure you have to line up on the grid to be considered a start. Schumacher missed one when his engine failed in France before the start of the race.

I think he didn't get classified as Starting at Silverstone when he broke his leg.

ummm isnt traction control of any kind banned? I dont care if they blow gases and pixie dust out of the exhaust, but traction control is not legal at all. that should be more than enough. FIA, close ur loopholes before season starts.

It wasn't traction control, so that was the benefit of the doubt in Red Bull's favour.
